March 2, 2025 Jan Carlson was awarded CurlBC's Club Volunteer Award pin ​

Jan has volunteered on the board of directors since 2017 and President since 2023 and also coordinated the stick league for the last 6 years. She was instrumental in starting a stick bonspiel in 2023 .Whenever there's a call for volunteers Jan is always the first to offer her help with “I’ll help with whatever you need, just tell me what to do”.
